Metrix Pakistan: Empowering KP’s Digital Future

PESHAWAR, April 8, 2025 — (APP)
Metrix Pakistan, a groundbreaking digital empowerment platform founded in May 2022 by Hassan Nisar, a 25-year-old visionary from a small village in the Haripur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has revolutionized the lives of thousands of underserved youth through advanced training in technology and digital skills.
In an exclusive interview with the Associated Press of Pakistan, Hassan Nisar, Founder and CEO of Metrix Pakistan, revealed the motivation behind launching the platform.
“When people talk about Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, they often speak of its challenges. I want them to see its potential. This province is full of raw talent and untapped energy. All it needed was a platform—and that’s what I set out to build.”
Under his leadership, Metrix Pakistan has evolved into the largest youth-driven tech movement in rural Pakistan, particularly across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The platform has trained thousands of young people in practical, hands-on skills such as freelancing, entrepreneurship, digital marketing, and coding.
“We didn’t just teach them theory,” Hassan added. “We trained them to build portfolios, work on real-world projects, and prepare for the job market. Today, hundreds of our students have landed internships and jobs—locally and internationally.”
What makes Metrix Pakistan exceptional is its inclusivity and outreach. From major cities to underserved regions like Lower Dir, Malakand, Mansehra, and Haripur, the organization has hosted tech summits, youth conferences, and training sessions, bringing mentors and digital tools directly to the grassroots.
“When we began, KP was largely ignored by tech giants. Now, thanks to our efforts, global firms are turning their attention to this province,” Hassan remarked. “We’ve hosted the likes of Binance, Microsoft, Bitget, and CoinEx, giving our students exposure to cutting-edge global innovations.”
The organization also provides training in Web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency—fields once inaccessible to students from these areas. Today, Metrix graduates are launching startups, managing freelance careers, and contributing to Pakistan’s digital economy.
Beyond technology, Hassan Nisar has also made notable philanthropic contributions, including organizing free medical camps across rural Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and discovering eight hidden waterfalls in Haripur, which he helped convert into tourist destinations—creating jobs and driving local development.
His work has been widely recognized. Hassan has received prestigious accolades including the Hamaray Heroes Award, Fakhre Hazara Award, and the High Achiever Award from the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“Some of the youth we trained didn’t even own smartphones. Today, they are earning, interning with top startups, or running their own ventures. That’s the change we’re building.”
Metrix Pakistan continues to drive forward with its signature programs including the Youth Summit, Tech Summit, Tech Fest, and rural outreach initiatives—becoming a beacon of empowerment for the entire province.
